Matthew Dillon
Name: Matthew Dillon (Matty) Gender: Male DOB: March 6, 1777 Age: 28 Description: A tall Irishman with gleaming emerald eyes and a smirk that can make even the most resolute of people feel giddy. His hair is chestnut, and he wears it bound back with a simple black ribbon. As for clothes, Matty is a tailor, and since he has the means to make whatever he wants, he dresses rather nicely- insisting on fresh pressed cravats and finely seamed coats. Most of the time he walks around in stockings, brown breeches, a white poet�s shirt, and a brown vest- if he leaves the house he brings a jacket, and occasionally a straw hat. Information: Born in Ireland on a potato farm, Matty was constantly subjected to the harsh reality that was a working life. Having not the strength to cart potatoes back and forth between the fields and the storehouse, Matty was sent back to help his mother and weaker brother Desmond around the house. From there Matty learned how to sew, how to cook something to survive (he has no concept of how to make something that actually tastes good), and read and write. Matthew and Desmond spent many hours together, writing fantastical stories- both developing that skill. In time, the farm was simply not enough, and at fourteen Matthew decided to relocate himself to England (despite the arguments of his mother and sad protests of his brother). He had every intention of making a living in London, but after a disastrous boat road over, a trip that cost him almost every penny, he could not bear the though of walking any more, and settled for Portsmouth. After a good two years of scrounging around at the bottom of society, trying to find a way to make a living, Matty finally figured out that he could make a good profit of becoming a tailor. He knew how to sew decently, and the local theatre was bound to be needing costumes. And thus his career started. So on Matty went, experimenting with love and the like... discovered his preferences... discovered a youthful young man that he quite intended to make his own. Yup. Nicki. Matty has been a major influence over Nickolai�s life� seducing him at a vulnerable age of seventeen. And despite common belief, Matthew was quite happy with the life that followed- a stable relationship of affection, adoration, and wild... ahem. That is until Jean came along and Matty and Nicki began to draw apart. After a two month separation from the youthful actor, Matty found himself miserable and desperately wishing for his love to return. Nicki did... and... well that�s where another story begins =) Matty is very good with children, and absolutely adores Dounia�s daughter Mishka� though it has become rather hard to see her with Dounia�s blatant dislike of him. Character developed by: NauticalNymph, played by Jailcrow now Mtty and Nicki amde up after Nicki's return from France and were inseperable until Jean came to mess it all up again. The resulting fight led to Nicki's sudden masculinity renaissance-- and a decision to move to Russia. Luckily, after discovering Matty had been working himself to the bone and had to resort to laudanum to keep his fingers from hurting to do so, they both had a touching make up again, and they'll now be moving together.
