Iolantha Mirella Veshengo
Name: Iolantha Mirella Veshengo Age: 20 Physical Description: Iolantha is of average height and build. She has dark features. Her most notable trait is the color of her eyes. They are a deep jade green. Character Description: Iolantha is of mixed heritage. Her father was of Romany decent. Her mother was a Spanish farmer's daughter. Not to say that her grandfather was a poor man, he farmed his own land, and so he commanded a great deal of respect from his neighbors. She knows that his name was Romero and that her mother's name was Allegria. This is the extent of her knowledge of her family. Shortly after her birth she was taken in by an order of nuns. It was widely rumored that her mother was exiled. She was raised in the convent with the hope that she would one day take the vows herself. As time progressed, however, it became evident that the world outside the walls had won her. Her curiousity was too great for this pious life. So with blessings, she was sent on her way to learn of life. The nuns always hoped that she would return one day. In parting, they gave to her a satchel filled with obscure things. They never told her where it came from, only that they hoped it would help assuage her curiousity. One of the items in the satchel was a white linen satchet filled with long dried rosemary leaves and rose petals. The word 'Veshengo' had been carefully embroidered on the delicate, worn cloth. Assuming this to be her father's name, she took it as her own and set out across Europe. She spent years wandering from place to place in search of answers and experience. Often she lived among the gypsies and other 'undesirables'. She learned their customs and philosophies. She learned to divine through cards and the stars, which became her livelihood. She is currently traveling through Germany.
