James Pleiades Hawkins
Name: James Pleiades Hawkins Nationality: British Age: 15 Birthday: February 17th 1790 Information: The normal rebelling teenager that feels the whole world is out to get him, mainly the French. When he was ten his father died of an illness along with Captain Billy Bones (a pirate that had been hiding at the Benbow for sometime) Billy slipped him pirate Captain Flint�s treasure map and a few weeks later set off with Captain Smollett, Doctor Livesey, Squire Trelawney, and the sea cook Long John Silver. Coming very attached to Silver over the matter of days between the time to travel it took to get to Treasure Island, Jim found him out to be like his father until, falling into an apple barrel and secretly finding out that Silver along with more then half the crew were pirates and were plotting to steel the ship and treasure leaving or killing any of the good Brits that resisted. While escaping the pirates and letting them just have the ship for the time being took refuge in a hide away cabin. In doing so Jim met the old Ben Gunn- a sailor that was marooned on the island by Flint himself. A fight soon broke out after a hostile discussion between Silver and Smollett. Smollett was shot and two of his loyal men were killed. During the night he snuck out to the ship to regain it. Only two scouts were set aboard, or at least there were two- until a pirate calling himself �Hands� killed the other over rum and then came after Jim. Jim shot him but in return got a dagger through his arm. After retaking the ship, a few tricks from Ol� Ben, another fight, Jim was finally able to see this legendary treasure. Silver was the only pirate alive in the end of this adventure and escaped with some of the prize at hand at a near port. Jim is still in contact with the old pirate, keeping up a steady letter once a month. He has been living with his mother back at the Admiral Benbow for the rest of his young days. His mother accused him of stealing his locket and after an argument, Jim gathered up his things and left. Stowaway-ing on a French ship instead of a British and ended up getting stranded in Paris until Sinclair found him wondering around on his ship for food. Sinclair strikes up a deal with him that he would be safely back in Bristol if he gave him what he had left of the money. (Which was quite a bit.) Jim not really being the best with deals is now penniless and sailing with a French crew. He meets up with Serena Kraege after a week�s sail and is following them to the Caribbean unwillingly� Boy mother�s Plumdum doesn�t sound too bad at the moment� Description: A good strong chin sits upon his canvas shirt; dusty brown hair had been tied back to be sure not to cover his blue eyes. He�s going through constant growing sprits that have made him just about 5�5- they�re slow sprits and constant meaning one day a year. His shortness bothers him so. Handsome as he is short, he�s not much into girls yet and prefers to just relax in the sun then work. Even though his mother warns him, he one day has to do provide for his own family. Jim would like to think he�ll worry about it when he meets that one lady.
