Earl Mowry
Deceased
Name: Earl Mowry Gender: male Age: 29 Description: Despite his money, Earl has always chosen to dress in a rather shady manner. His skin is a dark tan, but is covered up by a small beard. Earl's old habits have taken more of a toll on him then expected. Living on a ship most of his younger years has given him permanent lower back problems. He doesn't talk about them much just because well he's a guy and complaining is not worth the breath. Information: When Mister Mowry was younger, his mother thought it best to send him to be a sailor and sent him off on a crooked whaler. Years went by and he made little to show for his toils. However, money wasnt really a problem, since his father and grandfather had been on top of three slaver companies. Out around the edge of Egypt, Earl met Serena at a tavern, of course. Drinking two bottles at a time, she was already wasted. At the time Miss Kraege was a young first lieutenant, and not knowing who she really was, asked if he could join her. She quickly agreed and they talked long through the night. They quickly became friends when Earl found out she was really a lady. He began sending letters to her almost every month, telling her someday they would see each other again. He never told her in his letters that when that day would come he'd ask her hand. Earl never had the chance to see her again, because when he returned home his mother pulled him away from his ship and over to a young lady named Amelia Brown. Apparently, while he had been away, his mother had taken the liberty of promising his hand to her. As much as Earl tried to love the woman, he found that his heart just wasnt in it. These miseries caused him to finally forget his dreams of Serena, and he spent most of his days locked up in his room while Amelia took care of the house. One day he received a letter from his tavern beauty inquiring about his health and why she hadnt heard from him. It pained him to read that she actually missed him, and he quickly discarded the letter. It was beyond him to write to her that he had been forced into a marriage. He forced his thoughts from her, until one day she showed up at his house asking for his help. Everything seemed like a blur from then on. Earl woke up from the nightmare when Serena rescued him out of his prison cell. Everything seemed to jump back 10 years for him. Everything involving his wife was over, Serena was back with him again, and that's what mattered. Now he is waiting for just the right time to remind her of their past, and to ask that little question.
