Captain
Henri Agnew
Name: Henri Vincent Agnew Age: 54 Information: A rebeltypically with a cause, while living in France. As a younger man, he perhaps did not have the strongest character. Having gone through the Revolution in the Loire Valley, he switched between the loyalist and revolutionary factions repeatedly, though this was also because he had served as a footman to a local count for a few years, where he learned many of his mannerisms. The difficulty in preserving himself in this fashion, though- not to mention the yearly flooding of the entire Valley, pushed Henri into a more interesting character. He is sarcastic, intelligent, and a bit bawdy, but quite lacking in patience, hence a privateer, not navy. The last twelve years on the sea have only made him more so, following after the footsteps of his father, a merchant sailor who had upped their status to the higher bourgeois. He took Diana hostage on her way back to England after Henry Rose was foolish enough to mention a note from Archie that allowed him to draw money from his account- so they could prove they were mere passengers and avoid trouble. Not long after, he rendezvoused with Sinclair Porter, who revealed Serena Kraege as a woman. Agnew kept Kraege and offered her safety in exchange for certain services. She was quick to take over the ship not long after, when Agnew intended to surrender to the British. The resulting battle ended with Archie Kennedy assumed as dead and Agnew becoming a prisoner of war while his ship was stolen. Appearance: His brown hair has faded to a vast array of grey, all of which is poorly cut and rough because of the sea. He wears a uniform, though he has taken the liberty of less gaudy colors- more earthy tones that compliment him despite his age. It takes a lot of complimenting.
