Name: James Eccles Gender: Male Age: Unimportant� he�s dead. Rank: First lieutenant of the Indefatigable Information: Well, Eccles is based off of a character from Horatio Hornblower, as many are. He served as the first left-tenant of the Indefatigable under Pellew throughout the journey in the West Indies. However, when he watched his best friend William Chadd die, and his captain be taken below shot, Lt. Eccles lost his nerve. Instead, he dwelled too much on his personal loss, and lost sight of the mission in turn. There was a moment of glory for Eccles when he finally brought himself back together, but it was short-lived and too late� the Spanish caught the Indy, and he was taken prisoner. Unfortunately, in gaol, James caught the first of the yellow fever spell, and perished in his cell after a week. At least he�s with Chadd now?
