Edwards Bartholomew Roberts (Smok'n Bart)
Name: Edwards Bartholomew Roberts Goes by: Bart or Barty Orientation: Strait as an arrow Age: 15 Birthday: July 1st 1790 Rank: Sailor of the Sirena Description: Hes grown up quite a bit from all of the running around in the Caribbean, now can think of himself as a man without being called names. His voice started to crack about a year ago and after a month of squeaking it rested with the creamy voice he has now. Unfortunately he still has a little bit of his baby face that is trying to melt in with a strong jaw, but hasnt quite made it yet. Though he has been finding himself shaving every other morning, but makes sure not to touch his fluffy sideburns. Bart still has his long black hair but considering his knew lifestyle doesnt pull it back into that tight braid very often anymore. Hes also grown to a good 57 that he is most proud of considering the very short time it took him to get there. While visiting along the coast of the Americas he got himself a nice one chain strand tattoo that runs along his upper right arm- he hopes his whole arm will be covered with the iron sometime in the future. Having lived so long with tight shirts and cravats now finds himself wearing nothing but a dirty red vest around his chest and his black baldric that holds a lovely French cut hanger. Theres another belt around his middle mostly to hold up a long, auburn sash that matches nicely with his dark orange canvas pants. He has a set of black leather gloves that he keeps in his sea chest but he only brings those out when there is going to be a battle. Its almost his new trade mark nowsince he hates when people sometimes bring up the name Smokin Bart. Hes trying to make a better nickname for himself, what that might behes still in the search of Information: The merchantman that he stole away on three years ago was so easily and quickly captured by Captain Angelo Torricelli that he saw himself quickly aboard the pirate ship. He was still a loyal man of England at the time in the ways of speaking, but after he really thought about it the taste of being a Midshipman for the Kings Navy wasnt as fun as his parents had made it sound. They had been the only reason why he had joined in the first place and after that the thoughts of being loyal were literally beaten into him he really did think that was the right thing. Even if he was from England he had found the life of piracy to be quite enjoyable after he just relaxed and went with it. He learned in three years what most boys couldnt learn in the navy until seven years had pasted. So he could safely say now that he no longer confused ports with starboards and could tell you almost anything you wanted when it came down to the guns. The guns reach two hundred yards? He could make them stretch to three and still have a good enough shot. Same with pistols, he had one of the best aims on the whole ship. So he supposed his days as being a silly boy shooting of his flintlocks at a hint of a moving target really had paid off. His personality has also been warn down by the easy life of a gallowss dancer. He doesnt think so highly of himself anymore and is really a fun person that is finally living out his childhood dreams of riches. Also his high loyalties have fallen onto the captain and would follow him to the ends of the Earth if he had to. Being also well favored among the men and from his outspoken and trustworthy tongue he is hoping to get appointed as the Quartermaster sometime soon.
