Life in Fandom is the story of a town, which is made up completely of characters, buildings, etc., from every book, movie, comic book, and television show in existence (even the ones I don't know about). The story follows the adventures of the Fellowship from The Lord of Rings, who have a cozy home on Fantasia Lane, nextdoor to Harry Potter and company and across the street from The Princess Bride. Life for the Fellowship is sometimes mundane, sometimes madcap, and sometimes (although rarely) just normal -- however, any sense of normality is usually destroyed by the arrival of some unforeseen and totally unwarranted problem. What else could you expect from a town where "traffic" consists of broomsticks, hovercars, haycarts, and station wagons?
The website is, so far, just a "bare bones" sort of place -- it's a place where you can read the story, ask me questions, place requests (yes, I do take requests for cameo appearances by your favorite character), and find out more about me, Fandom, and anything else you don't want to know about. You can also ask a Fellowship member a question about life as a citizen of Fandom -- you get to choose which (Fellowship member, not question) -- and they'll answer, though the answer you get really depends on what you ask and, more importantly, who you ask.
In theory, a new chapter is posted weekly, although I've sort of fallen off the wagon recently. I promise to hop back on -- in fact, I'm working on a new chapter right now, which will be posted as soon as it is finished. Though I do post Life in Fandom on other websites, it will be updated most frequently here.
So...feel free to look around, (hopefully) enjoy yourself, and watch out for flying Bludgers!
