| Recently we did a song in English lessons. We were interpreting poems and also did this song. It's "The Sound Of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel. A few days later I was typing the lyrics of "Cling And Clatter" for the lyrics section of this page and I noticed that some of the lyrics are very similar. Then I remembered that I read somewhere Jason liked Simon & Garfunkel and was influenced by them or something like that, I'm not sure about that though. But it's too similar, it can't be a coincidence. Anyway, here is the part of the songs that's similar: The Sound Of Silence ... And in the naked light I saw Ten thousand people, maybe more. PEOPLE TALKING WITHOUT SPEAKING, PEOPLE HEARING WITHOUT LISTENING, People writing songs that voices never share And no one dare Disturb THE SOUND OF SILENCE ... Cling And Clatter ... If I could touch THE SOUND OF SILENCE now You now I would If I knew how How to make these intentions come around I'M HARING WITHOUT LISTENING AND BELIEVING EVERY WORD THAT YOU'RE NOT SAYING SPEAKING WITHOUT A SOUND ... |
