Silver approached Tanama. She turned and smiled at her father. He growled, his eyes bled with an uncontrollable fury. Father? She stepped forward. A beam of heat was released from his mouth. Tanama was blown backward, smashing into the iced lake. She slowly began to sink. She never saw the surface again. Howling demonically, Silver stormed off. What had happened to him, we may never know. He did not know what he did. A side of a monster had controlled him. When he approached his mate, young WindSong, all she could was cry on his shoulder. Karaya slept at her fathers feet. Nidia sat a few paces away. An eerie figure watched from the shadows. Reminded of Star Racer, it must have been a spirit. Nidia picked up Karaya then walked towards the den. She offered Chase to come but he refused. A brown wolf leaped out of the bushed. She walked with a limp and was obviously blind. Chases turned his glance. Was it? It was! Aamia He said softly. I am here, brother. She came to his side and hugged him. I have seen Silver and WindSong. They are happy together, but Silver has defiantly changed. Chason nodded slowly as he glanced off. Dear brother, what has happened to you? Your fur no longer of love? Your eyes no longer of happiness? What.. The familiar alpha walked up. Chason bowed his head to Mizukori. She smiled as she watched him. Aamia sighed then slowly walked away. Chason you are always welcomed back to the pack. Chason shook his head. Mizukori reasoned with him some time then finally convinced him. He walked slowly with her back towards the pack lands. He sat at her side. She began to laugh with the other ferals. The young Talron was being snuggled by Myla and Theirra. Chase shook his head and slowly moved away again. He walked backed towards BushKill. Star was there, she began to cry when she saw him. She was all over him, nuzzling and licking him, He returned no response, and his eyes barely glanced to her. Chason, talk to me She whimpered. He looked towards her, I wish no more to love. I wish no more to live She watched him then ran off. She glided onto an icy surface of the water. Crying hysterically, she did not realize the thin ice. She fell through. Chason ran after her. He jumped onto the ice and tried to pull her out. He fell in as well. The ice cut his muzzle as he tried to kick himself out. He swam with his one hind paw but groaned as he began to sink. Star pulled herself out then heaved him out. They both sat by the edge, her body shook rapidly. He glanced off his eyes blank, his flank shivering. What happened to you? Your actlikelikelike a shadow. The dying Star cried. Chason climbed to his feet then stumbles off. Aamia winced as she saw him. Her and SilverThunder then heaved her into the cave. For sure, almost positive, she was to die. Chason walked back to the meadow. Young Talron barked to him. Chase made no response, he kept walking. He sat by the lake, his eyes gazing towards the waterfall. His muzzle was emotionless. Brakon and Cendria whined, they stopped to watch him. They both were perched in a tree. Nosing her reluctantly, Brakon pushed Cendria to continue. Silver approached next to his brother. His golden eyes watching his dead sibling. Chason turned to look at him. He bowed his head ever so lightly. Silver nodded slowly. The two legendary siblings, standing side by side. No danger, no fear, no hate, no love, no anything. Mentally Chason had died, his life had ended. Nothing mattered anymore to him. His body had been torn apart. Forever, the memories echoed in his mind. Every moment, Roco was screaming. Every moment, Silver was bleeding and crippling. Every moment, his father fell to the ground. Every moment, his mother was thrashed. Every moment, Colaa lay still. Every moment, Star was buried. Every moment, he saw Q laughing. Every moment, he saw himself yelling at the young alpha. Every moment, he felt his soul being destroyed. Every moment, he saw himself dying. What a lifeWas it considered a life? Chason looked back at the water. A corpse stared back at him. Silver sighed, his golden eyes piercing towards his deformed brother. He turned, knowing nothing else to do then began to walk away. Forever a gimp, Chason was bounded to live alone. Turning, he gazed back at his brother. Silver also looked back, one forepaw lifted in step. The blue and gold windows finally met each other. Only for a split second then happiness was gone. |
