He shivered with fear and shivered with agony. Snow enhanced around his body. Snow enhanced around his soul. What did I do for this? Why sin did I commit to witness the death of my only brother? Lord, I ask you. Great wolf of the sky, I demand you tell me what I have done wrong. The pain flexes throughout my legs. My paws are anchored to the ground. Deception travels amongst my head whilst anger hurtles through my eyes. I ask you again, great wolf, sky hound, what did I do? He tilted his head back and howled, mournfully. The pain raining into his worn skin.

Kaiju shivered as he grumbled to himself. Colaa rocked back and forth, her tail wrapped with Cendrias. Nidia sneezed then yipped happily when she saw her father walk from the forest. Colaa leaped to her cousins side, her mystic blue eyes piercing into his sky eyes. Wheres Silver? Her voice was soft and soothing. I do not wish to speak of it. He sternly pushed by her. He slowly limped up the side of a hill, his knees swollen and the skin pinched. He tilted his head back and howled mournfully and depressingly. What had he done to deserve this? I guess we should not tell him about Star now? Kaiju shrugged, Colaa put her paw over his muzzle.

The snow trickled from the sky as the young wolves played in the snow. Chason sat on a near by low boulder; his eyes dazed and foreign. His daughter wrestled with some of the new joined wolves as Kaiju frolicked with some of the younger females. A young fox treaded in slowly, his eyes also of blue. His fur with a greenish tint and black running down his belly. Cendrias head was held low, her eyes glazed with tears. Unknown to most the stern SilverShot had been come her mate quite some time ago. Chason watched the fox walk in, smiling slightly but his eye were emotionless. The small fox came up and tapped his finger on Cendrias shoulder. He twirled around her, climbing to her head as he tapped her again. Hello there, whats wrong? Cendria tried to knock him off. Sarina had disappeared, her paw prints covered by the damp snow. Foretold to never be seen by the pack again.

What might your name be? Nidia looked to the fox with fascination. Well others call me, Brakon. He chuckled, his heart full of youth and joy. Cendria whined, as her eyes were full of sorrow. Brakon leaped of her head, ran into the forest then came back with a small bouquet of flowers. He handed it to her with a light grin. She looked to him with a slight cough then smiled lightly in return. A sudden familiar thunder roared thought the valley. Chason perked his ears, that was no natural sound. The sound of his sisters cries rang throughout his head as he saw his father slam to the ground. There was a quick growl behind him with a figure brushing by. Chason turned but there was nothing there.

Humans Brakon backed away. The wolves looked to him as Chason climbed to his feet What did you call them? Brakon shook as he looked towards the older alpha, They are these two legged creatures that stock around and hurt people. They take foxes from their dens and skin them for their luscious coats. Brakon leaped up a tree. He shivered as his lime fur, hid him among the branches. Cendria whined with fear. The young fox wrapped his long tail around the branch then dropped towards Cendria. He grabbed his small paws around her waist then pulled her into the trees. Colaa and Kaiju ran towards the west as Nidia hid under a rock. Chason stood firm as he waited the arrival of these fatal creatures.

The human walked towards Chason, holding a large and familiar slim object at him. A cry came from the left as Kaiju and Colaa were forced from their valley. They separated as they reached a climax of a hill. Chason backed up some as Nidia hid behind her father. Cendria huddled close to Brakon, shivering madly, not only from the creature but also from the unusual height of the tree.

Chason watched the creature approach, groaning with confusion. What was he to do? Brakon watched from above, Cendria shivered at his side. The two-legged monster spoke in a foreign tongue, sounding as a growl to the alpha. Chason shoved Nidia away as the young female, ran to hide in the trees.

Kaiju whined as a rope spun around his legs. He slammed down on his chest as a net fell on top of him. Both Colaa and Sarina were gone from sight. A pair of golden eyes watched the alpha from the shadows, a devious smile deceiving the darkness. Brakon chuckles as he picked up thick acorns, beckoning Cendria to do the same. Chason growled nervously, his body pushed towards the floor. The two-legged creature shouted as the fox and female wolf began to throw the acorns. It backed away as Chason stood up. A black flash passed the trees. Chason turned his head but there was nothing there. Kaiju was carried off.

Brakon lowered himself from the tree, his tail latching around a limb. He then dropped to the floor, his tail curling about his back leg. Cendria tumbled from the tree. Brakon reached his arms out then caught her with a grin. She looked into his blue eyes with a soft smile as well. Chason watched them, glad to see Cendria happy once more.

I have not come by luck, dear Chason. Chason snorted How did you know my name? Chason turned away from the fox. I have seen your sister. Brakon smiled, Cendria was stunned by him. Chason stopped, shock weaved onto his face. Such a caring soul, Lynia, she is. Brakon wrapped his tail around him. Chason leaped toward the fox, You know where she is? Brakon lifted his nose to the wolf, showing no respect to Chasons position, Not anymore but I do know that in time, you will have a visitor that you have never met. Chason groaned then walked into the den. A large panther sat there quietly, his tail bobbing from side to side. Chason, your heart is heavy, why? His voice was rough and full of deceived intentions. Chason whines softly, yet inaudibly as he watched the large creature, Who are you, why are you in my den? The panther leaped to his feet, circling around the wolf in an enchanted manner, Three summers past, your fathers death, tortured with misery and pain. Your young sister carried from your life. You as helpless as can be. Mother suicidal, her lost husband causing her confusion. The fate of your aunt, the angry bear of madness and fear. You, a young wolf, left with your lovely cousin and troubled brother. Saddened as well, your other sister, dear Aamia, left you be to try to find a happier life. Yet you find love with the beautiful Star Racer. You have a pup to enlighten your life. And we must not forget Nidia, the abandoned child that you adopted as your own. She is looking somewhat scrawny, do you feed that girl? A mysterious fox shows up, claiming to have known your lost sister, do you believe him? One day destroys it all. Something scares your cousin away; do you think it was those humans, hmm? The one you know as Kaiju is carried off as your young sister was. Things happen so fast now days. Youve had such a care free life. Your young brother, the one you looked after for many winters, was killed. Dying before your eyes, you did not help him! It is your fault he is dead. Your darling Star was starved in the lost den as your newborn son was, how do you say, exposed. Wow, I just gave you a summary of your pathetic life. All was of your fault, these deaths would have not happened without you. The creature chuckled, his eyes piercing towards the wolf. Chason was stunned, standing in fear as he watched the creature, How do you know me? Why have you been following me all my life? The panther reached for Chasons neck, ruffling the fur as the golden halo appears. What might that be? He chuckled, Chason struggled to move away. Only a collar my mother gave me. He smiled as he watched him, Daie, the angelic wolf? And the mighty Talron, a horrifying demon. What does that make you? Chason went speechless. The panthers figure became distorted as he disappeared before wolfs eyes. I will be watching you The monsters voice faded as the cool wind blew into the cave.

The months passed. Chasons loved cousin was lost, disappeared among the forest. The summer days were soon to come. The coldness was drying. The pack had faded with time, all the young cubs, gone. Brakon watched Chason pace; Cendria lowered her head to drink the soothing water. Nidia whined at her father, seeing his blue eyes of cold and dense. Many competing packs had entered the territory. Chason was at the end of his prime almost five now.

A young wolf came of that called Fenix, he snarled at the older alpha, demanding to be placed at head of the pack. Chason nodded then slowly walked away, Nidia followed not knowing of else to do. Chason was a wolf of reason and time. Brakon watched him go, looking to Fenix, and then leaping into a tree. He bounded across the limbs while the curious Cendria unknowingly followed him.

Chason approached the seaside, his heart heavy with emotional pain. Nidia walked up behind him, nuzzling his side. Go Nidia, go find Brakon, travel with the adventurous fox. I know Cendria beckons at his heels. Nidia looked at him with an odd expression on her face, Father, why would I leave you? Chason turned to her, his eyes glazed with sorrowful tears, I will not be here longer. Too many losses have caused me irreparable pain. Nidia whined as she watched her father as he lowered himself to the ground. Every thing I do has been wrong. Everyone I knew is gone. Everything I love is dead. Chasons words began to trail off. Nidia nudged him to get up, Father, I am by your side. I will never leave you. Chason coughed as his fur became ruffled in the sand, Nidia, you will learn. You were better off without me He closed his sky eyes, the water rolling onto his lame paws. Nidia sobbed angrily, nuzzling him furiously, Brakon leaped to the side of the beach. One paw outstretched to Nidia, she ran to his side as she sobbed on his shoulder. Brakon sighed as he looked to Chasons gimp body.

Almost Four years later.

Brakon shouted, Youre breaking my back! Cendria pawed his head with her hind leg, trying to claw up the tree. Brak, Im sorry! She tumbled down to the ground. Brakon groaned as he leaned up against the tree trunk. Cendria smiled at him. Brakon grunted, putting paw on his shoulder. Maybe wolves were not meant to climb. Cendria sighed, lowering her ears. Nidia leaped from a branch to the floor, staring at the other wolf and fox, What are you guys talking about? Cendrias lower jaw dropped as Brakon smirked.

Brakon climbed to his feet then walked to the watering hole. He stopped in his tracks when he saw a young female fox. His royal blue eyes glimmered as his tail brushed the ground. Cendria and Nidia walked up behind him but stopped when they saw the dashing gray fox. Brakon leaped forward, Hi there. The female looked to the smaller fox then giggles, flipping her tail into his face. Cendria whined with jealously as Nidia elbowed her, You know a fox and a wolf could never be together. A large white wolf then appeared from the shadows. Both the foxes stopped as the large male canine leaped towards the little female fox. She whined as the creature pulled her in the water. Brakon leaped behind them, paddling into the lake. Cendria ran out there, splashing into the water as well. Nidia whimpered as she pawed the ground nervously.

Cendria slashed at the male wolfs face as Brakon dragged the female fox out of the water. He coughed as he nudged her to get up. The male wolf swam quickly to the shore, grabbing Brakon by the scruff then ripping him into the forest. Brakon whines as he struggled to get loose. Cendria and the other fox tried to follow.

The male wolf took Brakon to a human. He was devious looking, his eyes glancing up with a smile. A familiar black shadow sat behind in the shade, the golden eyes piercing towards the young fox. The human stood taking the fox from the wolf. He then opened a small bag next to him removing a darkish metal. Brakon whined as the human set him on the ground. He struggled once again as he reluctantly had an injection put in him. Within moments, he was unconscious.

Cendria searched frantically for her fox friend. The female fox followed behind her. Do you have a name? Cendria panted heavily. Rainflower the fox whimpered as well. Nidia was walked up to the lake and sighed lowering her head. A familiar female wolf walked from the woods, approaching behind Chasons daughter.

Cendria walked into a clearing, seeing the white wolf and the human. She growled as her neck fur began to bristle. The human yelled something which she could not understand; the large white male canine began to growl. Brakon fell from above, sparks flying off his fur as foam projecting from his mouth. His coat was ecstatic, electricity running throughout his coat. A metal plate covered the left side of his face, wires running along his skull line and jaw bone. Wires sparked in his mouth as he growled viciously. Cendria lowered her ears with a whine as Rainflower began to back up. Brakons blue eye shined brightly as he snapped towards the females. Cendria walked up to him, the small foxs fur bristling with anger. She nuzzled his side soothingly taking nips on her flank. The human walked into the shadows, with the white wolf at his heels. The golden eyes amongst the darkness disappeared slowly.

Brakon looked up to her, a small slot carved into his head above his left eye. A red lens lowered as he began speaking a foreign language to it. It shot out a red beam which slammed into Cendrias chest. She whined as tears flowed from her eyes, thrown against a tree trunk. The red lens lifted as a blue lowered, scanning over her body. Brakons expression eased, only his right eye cried

Nidia nuzzled the wolf behind her, realizing it to be her distant cousin. Colaa returned a nudge as she sighed, grooming the younger wolf lovingly. Cendria limped from the trees. Brakon glanced over at Rain; she smirked then walked away, flicking her tail in his face. Brakon looked down as his fur settled, his paw running over the part of his mechanical face. Colaa ran to his side, then wrapped around him, crying on his shoulder.

The human looked down to the wolf, his face covered with his hood, Find the brothers graves. The wolf growled then bounded off. The human walked into a large house, hidden with vines and pines. The shadow slipped in behind him, the feline tail disappearing around the door. Within a few hours, the wolf returned with two bags dragging at his side. A rancid smell filled the air. Give me the angel first The human smiled deviously. The panther paced the darkness as he listened silently. The white wolf threw one bag forward; a decaying paw fell from the opening of the brown sack. The human snickered then grabbed the sack, pulling it into a room. The shadow and white wolf waited impatiently.

The human dumped the body onto the table. A very familiar body, rotten gray fur with brown streaking around the eaten sides. Flies buzzed around the decomposing skull as the eyeball itself had been devoured. Most the organs were gone, the years had stacked up. Surprising the body should only be bones by now, but it was not. The human took of his cloak, his eyes shining a rotten green. He placed one hand on the chest; the missing skin began to grow back over the holes. The skull disappeared as it was covered with muscle and flesh. The wolfs chest slowly began to rise and fall, one paw moving slightly. The human ruffled the neck fur as the halo collar shone brightly. It shocked him; instinctively the human drew his hand back. Blood began to trickle down his palm. He growled slightly, but it turned to a devious grin when he saw the dazzling sky blue eye, open.

The corpse became once again living. One paw trudged forward, coughing and whining was heard. The human rubbed his hands together as he snapped his fingers. The white wolf slowly walked in. The shadow creped along the walls, its eyes only to be seen. The wolf leaped onto the table then latched its teeth onto the scruff of the gray wolf. He then began pulling it off the table then out of the room. The shadow began to follow. The human watched the gray wolf leave, smiling as he glanced to the second bag on the floor outside.

The white wolf threw the other wolf into a silver cage. Now stay put Chason. We dont want you getting killed, now do we? The wolf cackled then walked out. Chason looked down at his paws then around, outside the cage. He remained quiet, glancing to either side. He winced as the light came down to his eyes, moaning as he struggled to recognize sounds again. His eyes glazed with tears as he sniffed the cage bars. He sat down slowly as memories began to influence his mind. He sighed then looked around once again. His gimp tail rested behind him. Within moments he began to wag it, remembering what it was like to move.

The shadow lurked out to Chason, its feline structure circling the cage. What did I tell you Chason? Your life is miserable. Yes, I know what you are thinking. What am I doing in this cage? Why am I here? Why did you resurrect me? The feline cackled as his tail weaved into the silver bars. Did you not miss me, Chason? Did you not miss life? Well now you do not have a choice. You will work for the human. Do as he says and be trained the way he teaches you. The feline smiled, You have many talents that you have not discovered yet, alpha. Chason coughed, unable to pronounce words yet. The creature smiled then slipped back into the house. Chasons golden collar began to glow; he staggered to look down at it, putting his muzzle against his chest. It shone brightly as the cage filled with light.

The human brought in the second bag. He hauled it up, onto the table then dumped the decaying matter on the wood. A familiar black wolf, with a white tummy and painted cheeks. Its head was almost severed, the skull line torn open. It looked as if the animal had received a great impact to the head. The chest was torn open, most of the organs had decomposed, and the leftovers were full of worms. Strange once again, that this much of the body was left over from four years of eternal death. One paw was slanted in an awkward way while one knee was obviously attacked with frostbite. The mouth hung open, small canines were flared. The top of the mouth had been eaten through as well as both eyes.

The human snickered as he placed his hand on the wolfs chest. Again the flesh began to skim over the holes in the flank. The muscles returned to the chest, as the worms were burned alive. The wolf began to gag blood as the golden eyes slowly opened. He moved one paw forward as he tries to lift his head. The human watched from a good distance, noticing the wolfs head was still distorted. One part jagging upward abnormally while the other side rests at the normal skull line level. The wolf attempted to stand, his legs shattered with pain. He whined as he collapsed, looking around aimlessly. The white wolf strolled into the room, looking up to the younger brother. Blood quickly strolled down the black wolfs neck. He was powerful and muscular; his body was once again built well for speed and agility.

Chason lifted his paw, the claws fading to a whitish color. He blinked his eyes, opening them as a pure white. A foreign blizzard traveling throughout his mind. Slashes appeared on his side, of baby blue, streaking along his hips and cheeks. His height grew almost two feet while his length added another foot. He whimpered with bewilderment, his collar continuing to shine. Wings sprouted from his shoulder blades, the gray fur dyeing to light blue feathers. He snarled abnormally as he slashed his claws through the metal floor. His tail fattened then split into two. It looked to be the tail of the fox. His coat then became light, still of gray, but tinted only softly. He flapped his wings, dashing upward, with ease, breaking through the top of the cage. The collar rose from his neck then swirled above his head. Shining the brightest ever, it became, once again, a halo.

The white wolf dragged the black wolf outside. His jaw almost snapped when he saw the angelic wolf, perched upon the broken cage. His eyes were glaring down, his shoulders somewhat hunched forward. He looked or maybe resembled a griffon. How strange it was. He reminded the incoherent black wolf of his mother, he barely knew. Chason screeched demonically then swooped down towards the white wolf. It backfired, the wolf figured out what Chason was up to. He threw the recovering black wolf in front of him, holding him up with his forepaws. You wouldnt hurt your baby brother, Silver, would you? Chason stopped with a whine, his wings flapping as he soared into the sky. Silvers eyes watched his figure fade. The shadow crept outside; he had been watching the scene from a window in the house. He grinned then slipped over to Silver. Once again, he leaves you, Silver. As he did before, he left you to die. Silver closed his eyes then looked away. Its not true. He whispered. The feline intimidated him, circling tightly around the wolf, Oh, but it is. Chason hated you. Do you not remember? How he abused you and Colaa. He never found you food or pampered you when you were ill. He never loved you and never will love you. The white wolf grinned as he watched. The feline creature turned to him, Caseous, inform the master that the older brother flew away. He chuckles as he finishes, his tail flicking against Silvers muzzle. Caseous nodded then slowly walked inside.

Chason whined as he slowly landed in a thicket of trees. His abnormalities disappeared as he collapsed to his knees. He closed his eyes then fell asleep. A strange looking dog nosed his way through the flowers. His back arched high with his stubbed tail frisking from side to side. He padded over to Chason, nudging him quietly. The strange dog latched his teeth around the wolfs scruff then dragged him towards a meadow. Another gray wolf stepped forward, a brownish-tan one to his side. Bonezi, what have you found? The gray one said. Bonezi dropped Chason, cackling with an eerie tint, A wolf as you obviously, Kcal. Kcal smirked as he stepped forward and pushed his head against Chasons side. Chason groaned as he rolled to his back. Bonezi watches closely as the brown wolf snapped at his feet Get lost, hyena. Bonezi yipped then dashed down the valley.

Chason slowly opened his eyes, then gazed at the two wolves, Hello... He said slowly and somewhat nervously. Kcal smiled warmly, the brown wolf remained stern. Where did you come from? He said. Kcal nudged him with his shoulder, Ingvar, be nice. You are welcome here, sir. Chason smiled lightly then nodded easily, My name is Chason. I am sorry if I intruded your territory. Kcal shook his head, Rest now Chason. You have traveled farit seems Chason dropped his head again. Ingvar probably was not that bad but he seemed to be troubled. Chason laid calm as sweet dreams of his youth wandered throughout his mind.

Caseous growled at the young Silver. The wolf crouched back in fear. Your are pathetic! Caseous raged, Demon indeed. He began to walk away. Silver looked at him questioning ably then down at his paws. He was leaned against the wall, his weight pressed against it. Demon, me? Those things are hideousand evil... Caseous looked back at him rolling his eyes. You will learn, young Silver. Q will teach you. He chuckled as he strolled out of the room. What kind of name is Q? Silver looked around nervously. Its my name... The familiar panther leaped from the darkness, his golden eyes shining brightly. Silver whined as he shivered. Q approached him slowly, Silver, do not be afraid... I will not hurt youfor now. But your brotherhmmWe need to go over some history, shall we?

Chason slowly wandered around the territory. Wolves of all sorts gathered around areas. Chason remained silent, seeing wolves he had never seen before. Suddenly Colaa leaped from behind, pouncing onto her cousin. Oh my godChase...my favorite cousinBrakon told me you were dead Chase was pinned on his back, smiling lightly at his cousin. Brakon, hes alive? Colaa nodded quickly. Nidia dashed from the trees onto her father, covering him with licks and kisses. Its impossible...I saw you die. Chase shook his head slowly. The familiar robotic fox stepped out of the trees. He lowered his head before meeting Chases eyes. Brakon what happened? Chase climbed to his paws watching the small forest fox.
