Semester 2 - 2004 Back to the Bush
Don't get me wrong. Mawson is a good campus as far as regional campuses are concerned. It's just that it's miles out of my way (South Road sucks).
Well it's a small class which means we should get a lot more personal tuition. Unfortunately our lecturer can't speak English (congratulations UniSA, the longer I'm a student the more disillusioned I'm becoming). God knows how the exchange students understand him. My classmates are all serious, straight (kind terms for boring) & not very talkative. Asking them for help is like pulling teeth. I got to pull a computer apart which was cool for for two reasons. One, after the hassles I've had with Cherry Computers trying to fix my PC, puling one apart was the next best thing to actually smashing the shit out of one. Two, it was a UniSA practice computer so if I fucked up - so what? At least I don't have Ian Clarke sleazing over the women and ignoring all the guys in the class. Doing this subject is such a shallow effort at fundraising. I'm never going to have anything to do with this subject after I pass so it's a complete waste of time for what I'm studying. Of course parking and availability of computers is still a major pain in the arse.
