Semester 1 - 2003
Another year. Hopefully Medici isn't as much of a pain in the arse to use as it was last year.
I'm actually looking forward to catching up with classmates again and see how they did in their exams and what they got up to over the break.
I have to admit, I learn almost as much from my fellow students as I do from my lecturers and if it wasn't for my class mates I'm not sure if I'd still be studying.
16th Jan:
I just had a look at the provisional timetable for Semester 1, 2003. It's just as easy to understand as last year's timetable (which means it isn't). I'm getting status for some 1st year subjects so I'll continue with 2nd year so I can still study with "the gang".
Well I'm now officially enrolled for another semester.
The cool thing is that "our gang" all managed to get the same classes together which is handy for assignments and working back late and we can questions of each other.
Now all I have to do is find the $$ to pay my HECS.
Where else do you go after a class?
Yep, you guessed it. On a fact finding mission to the Unibar.
Matt on the roof having a bit of a play with some GPS gear.

Unibar, where else?

Exams are over !!!
Now it's time to relax, get fit, go surfing and work on a sleep pattern that involves going to bed before 2am.
And of course wait for my results to come out.
Question: Why do primary and high school teachers all go to University and do a teaching degree and University Lecturers don't have any other qualifications apart from what they learnt back in the Stone Age?
Some of these guys have no communication and/or teaching skills whatsoever.
What's more, some of 'em know less than the students on what they are supposed to be teaching.
I can't believe how naive I was when I first came here.
I expected professional, knowledgeable teachers, readily available computers and instead I got lecturers that know fuck all and a line up in the computer pool longer than the girls toilet at the Big Day Out.
