| The Exeter has been around for ages and is full of people from all walks of life. Like the other pubs in the "Golden Triangle" (The Austral and The Crown & Anchor) it used to be a pub for the workers from the fruit & vegetable markets to have a "pony" of beer after finishing work. |
| Happy Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9.30 pm - 10.30pm AND Sundays: 9pm - 10pm |
| The Austral sells pints of Sparkling Ale for the price of a schooner. Go there but don't drive and be very careful. |

| I had a photo of the Crown and Anchor but it was taken in the daytime and I didn't recognise the place. If you're the least bit pretentious then this place is definitely not for you. |
