You see, i've come to find that people who choose not to vote are not only doing themselves a disservice, but are doing anybody else within their common demographic(s) a disservice. The majority of young eligible voters do not vote. This means to politicians that they do not have to worry about what the young eligible voters think, because the young eligible voters are not determining whether or not they stay in power. SO as long as young eligible voters continue their slacking off trend, our word means nothing.
To those of you who say, "My vote does not count," you are correct. You are so correct that you are a self-fulfilling prophecy. Politicians only pay attention to the groups of people who keep them in office. If the majority of your group, or demographic, says it doesnt matter or it wont count if you vote then nothing changes. Yes, bitches, you're fucking right. Congratulations on your backward progress.
To those of you who say that there is no choice in the ballot. Well, blame the bitches i just talked about (you're probably also in that group, so, yes, it is your own damn fault).
