REDDING, CA – THE ADDAMS’ HOUSE – APR.9th, 2002 – TUESDAY
“I don’t wanna see you until tomorrow night.” Kirstin told Ashley over the phone.
“What? Why not?” Ashley sounded a bit hurt.
“Because I want to surprise you tomorrow night. I’m gonna spend the whole afternoon in the hair salon to be just perfect for you tomorrow night. And you know how much I hate these sort of things.”
“But you don’t need to spend the day at the salon to be perfect. You already are. “
“Aw… now you’re just saying that to get lucky tomorrow night.”
“Oh…” Ashley laughed “Well… is it working?”
“So far, yeah.” Kirstin giggled.
“Good.” Ashley chuckled.
“Oh, I’m so relieved that your parents were happy to know about the engagement!”
“I don’t even know why you thought they wouldn’t be. They love you, K.”
“Well… good to know. “
“So…” Ashley changed the subject “What time should I pick you up tomorrow night?”
“I don’t know… what time is the God forsaken event?” Kirstin sighed and Ashley chuckled.
“It starts at 8 o’clock.”
“Oh, what about 9? We don’t wanna be the first ones there, right?”
“Right. We’re gonna be fashionably late, then?”
“Yes, that’s it.” Kirstin smiled.
“Ok.”
“So… let’s sleep now, we’re gonna have a busy day tomorrow and it’s midnight already.” Kirstin pointed out.
“Ok. So… Until 9 p.m. tomorrow.”
“Until then. Love you.”
“Love you, too. Bye.” Ashley said and hung up the phone.
REDDING, CA – THE ANGEL’S HOUSE – APR.10th, 2002 – WEDNESDAY
It was 8:40 p.m. when Ashley was staring at his reflection at the mirror.
Ashley looked perfectly handsome. He was wearing a black tux with a black shirt underneath it and a black silk tie. The whole outfit looked perfect for him. It was classy, sexy and mysterious. He was wearing his hair down and was just making the final arrangements in it before leaving the room to pick Kirstin up.
“Perfect.” he smiled to the mirror and left.
REDDING, CA – THE ADDAMS’ HOUSE – APR.10th, 2002 – WEDNESDAY
Ashley pushed the door bell and waited. He felt strangely nervous. He had butterflies in his tummy and sweaty hands. That image was just too familiar. It reminded him too much of prom. What if it was like prom? What if they had the perfect night that night and the next day, Kirstin was gone? Would it be possible this time?
‘I’m not gonna freak out. This is nothing like prom. We’re getting married! She won’t disappear now.’ Ashley thought to himself while shaking his head.
Ashley turned around and had his back to the door when he heard it open. He slowly turned around and was not prepared to see the image of Kirstin standing on her porch.
Kirstin looked like an angelic piece of work. She was sexy, yet classy. The red dress wrapped around her, as if it were made exclusively for her. Very form fitting. Flowing across her one shoulder, the unforgettable red carried through the one flared sleeve down her right arm, showing a little of her arm through the curtain-like design. Her other shoulder and arm were bare, as to taunt Ashley, make him want to hold on to them, touch them. Falling a little below the knee, the dress exposed her long, perfect, toned legs. She did not only look sexy, but she also looks sweet.
Ashley began to tremble as she came closer.
“Ash?” Kirstin frowned when she got closer to him and placed her hand on his right arm to check if he was alright.
“Oh…” Ashley stopped talking to take some time to think “My God.”
“Oh…” now Kirstin knew what that was about “Too much?” Kirstin looked down and played with her fingers. She was a little embarrassed. She didn’t like when someone would look at her like Ashley was. She was not feeling comfortable. That was one of the reasons why she didn’t like to dress up.
“No, no, not too much. Not at all too much. It’s just that…” Ashley was still amazed by her look “Oh, my God! I don’t even know what to say. I’m… I’m sorry, I know you don’t like this, this… stare thing. And I know I’m staring…” Ashley looked her up and down “But I just can’t help it. You look awesome. Amazing.”
“Thank you. But let’s just leave it that way, ok? Awesome and Amazing.”
“Sure. As long as it’s clear you’re awesome and amazing.” Ashley grinned at her.
“It’s pretty clear by that look on your face.” Kirstin grinned too and pecked his lips “Now, let me talk about you!” Kirstin took a better look at Ashley “God, you shouldn’t be talking about me. Just look how perfect you are!” Kirstin smiled big at him.
“Yeah… But, again, I’m always perfect.”
“Oh, my God! I love your modesty!” Kirstin giggled “But, seriously, I love when men dress up all in black. It’s just perfectly sexy. I feel like… ripping it all off.”
“Oh…” Ashley got closer to her and only half an inch separated their mouths “You do, don’t you?”
“Oh, yeah!” Kirstin nodded.
“What is stopping you then?” Ashley suddenly kissed her hard on the mouth. Despite the chilly weather, their bodies were hot and starting to sweat. They were rubbing against each other and soon enough, Ashley was getting a little too excited.
“No, wait…” Kirstin pushed him away gently “Do you realize where we are?” Kirstin smiled.
“Oh…” Ashley smiled embarrassed when he realized they were standing on Kirstin’s front yard “Forgot about that.”
“Clearly.” Kirstin smiled at him “Now… take a deep breath.” Kirstin smiled looking down.
“Ok.” Ashley smirked.
“And let’s go. It’s time already.” Kirstin informed.
“Ok, let’s go.” Ashley took her hand and led her to his car.
