We're now on an Internet cafe in Chennai at the train station. We're very tired because we've been travelling all night from Kochin. The plan is to go to Mahabalipuram but as soon as we got outside the trainstation we got attacked by taxidrivers who wants to take us everywhere except the busstand we want to go to. And to very exaggareted prices. Its really tiring. We'll probably take a local bus to the busstand now.
Anyways, we've just "done" Kerala. It was nice. First we spendt 2 days in a small place called Bekal. It was not touristy which was nice, had an almost deserted beach... We met a Danish couple. One day we did a boattrip.
After that we headed for Kochin. We've been there for 5 days. It was a very friendly and nice town. We stayed in a nice hotel in Ernakulum and it was close to the ferry jetty that takes you to the really nice part fort kochin. There are restaurants shops and colonial houses. We found a great french restaurant called Casa Maria where we had Poulet de Normandie (or something like that).
One day we did a boat trip, which was nice but a bit to long and "pensionarsaktig". It was Gaby's idea to do it.
Oh well soon we'll hopefully be in Mahabalipuram.
