Brianne smiled when she saw Isaac holding a bag of sweet heart candies. He sat down across from her and spread them out on the table in front of them. She watched him intently without uttering a word, trying to determine what he was doing. He arranged them so that they were all facing up and then grinned at her and slid a pink heart across the table to her. She took it and quickly read it and passed another heart back, her eyes growing a bit wide:

Isaac looked up and smiled. He leaned over and kissed her softly without uttering a word.
