To All Prospective Participants
Dear Prospective Life Blossom Participant:

Thank you for your interest in the
Life Blossoms project. You have embarked upon a restorative justice plan to produce a book which will feature the poetry and prose of both the family members of homicide victims as well as persons convicted of homicide offenses.  We hope to create a "dialogue of healing" between these two groups in an effort to promote the concept of victim/offender mediation/reconciliation.

We encourage you to send any writings of poetry or prose which express how you, your family members, and the community have been impacted by the crime of homicide to your designated Project Coordinator. You will need to review the
Life Blossoms Overview (describing the purpose and goals of the project),  Submission Guidelines (concerning the specific rules and procedures for all submissions), and a Waiver Form.  Please be certain that you read the Submission Guidelines carefully before you send your submissions to the respective Project Coordinator.

Be advised that not everyone who sends submissions will have their work selected for publishing. However, if your material is selected for the
Life Blossoms project, then you will be notified.  Please send your submissions to the Project Coordinator identified in the Submission Guidelines. The deadline for all submissions is August 15, 2007.

We truly appreciate all of the writing submitted for this book project. We sincerely believe that Life Blossoms is a worthwhile and beneficial project that will help serve as a therapeutic tool which will promote the restoration of justice in the lives of both victims and offenders impacted by homicide. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to the Project Manager at the
Life Blossoms address.

We remain, in peace and with kindness;

Sincerely,

James A. Paluch, Jr.
