About Me

Outside of school, I enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, canoeing, and generally anything outdoors. I have been a Girl Scout since I was in first grade and love to spend my summers at Camp Anna Behrens, where I was a camper for ten years and a staff member for seven years. I am a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America, a Red Cross First Aid/CPR trainer and a certified life guard. I love to travel, and I studied abroad in Australia in 2003. Currently, I am serving in the Peace Corps in Thailand, exploring this side of the world. I see life as a wonderful adventure always filled with new and exciting experiences to be enjoyed. I also see life as something that needs to be protected. I strive to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I encourage you to find more ways to live in harmony with our earth.
