HIV/AIDS Leadership Camps Project

I along with my counterparts, Mrs. Songrin and Mrs. Blapaiwan, applied for and recieved VAST funding through Peace Corps to do HIV/AIDS education camps. The first camp was for Matiom 5 students (11th grade). The focus was to educate them about HIV/AIDS and also how to be a leader, so that they could then be student leaders for the next two camps. The next camp was for Prathom 6 (6th grade) girls, followed by a camp for Prathom 6 (6th grade) boys. The matiom students were the leaders for both of these camps. The prathom students really looked up to the matiom students. Having matiom students as leaders helped the camps to be more effective.
