| Miaka Yuki,a japanese 15 year old school girl,go's to the library with her best friend Yui Hongo. While her friend is returning a book she sees a magical bird enter the restricted section of the library. She follows the bird,as does Yui when she realizes Miaka is gone,into the room and to a book called "The Universe of the Four Gods". They begin to read the Chinese story(Yui can read Chinese). As Yui reads they get sucked into the book and into another world much like ancient China were majic is real. After a fight with some bandits and being saved by a handsome young man named Tamahome with the symbol for "Crab" on his forehead(Its Ogre in the TV series). They are sucked back into modern Tokyo where they live. Later on Miaka gets into a fight with her mother and gos back to the library. She is once again sucked into the world of the book and cannot return to her own world unless she finds the Seven Celestial warriors of Suzaku gathers them together and summons Suzaku saving the a Chinese empire and granting her every wish. At least thats how it starts out.........later on though Miaka finds bigger trouble and worse situations. |
