Our Belief
STEP ONE - GOD'S PURPOSE: PEACE AND LIFE
Do you know that God loves you, and He wants you to experience long lasting
peace and an abundant life?
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
" ...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10
If it is God 's plan for us to have peace and an abundant life, why don't most
of us have them?
STEP TWO - OUR PROBLEM: SEPARATION
God gave us all freedom to choose; we can choose to disobey Him or follow Him.
However, we chose to disobey God and continue to do so, the end result is
separation from God.
"for all have sinner and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
In the past, mankind has tried many things to reach God but have failed. There
is only one solution to this problem.
STEP THREE - GOD'S SOLUTION: THE CROSS
Jesus died on the cross, but raised from the dead three days later. He paid
for our sins and became our bridge to God.
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus." I Timothy 2:5
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still
sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
God has prepared the solution, we need to make a decision...
STEP FOUR - OUR RESPONSE: ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST
We need to accept Jesus Christ as our personl saviour.
"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the
right to become children of God." John 1:12
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
Where are you now? Are you willing to ask Jesus into your life? If so, you
need to:
1. Admit your need (I am a sinner).
2. Willing to turn away from sin (repent).
3. Believe Christ died on the cross for you and raised from the dead.
4. Pray the following prayer to ask Jesus to enter and take control of your
life.
Say this prayer if you are ready to accept Jesus Christ into your heart.
Dear Jesus,
I know I am a sinner, and I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for
my sins. I invite you to come into my heart and my life today, to be my
personal saviour. I am willing to let you be my Lord and I will follow you and
get to know you. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
