On the 10th of June 1996, Knopfler and his band whom we still called the "96ers" travelled to Copenhagen, Denmark, and, that evening, delivered a stunning performance. Fortunatly, we own a brilliant recording of this concert. A previous recording (radio sourced) was distributed via the Telegraph Road mailing list. However, that recording was incomplete with a commercial interruption during Romeo And Juliet and the two last songs of the concert missing all together. This new recording, provided to us by Karlheinz, is complete, uninterrupted and the sound is perfect. For all the the collectors out there, Copenhagen '96 features the only available soundboard recording of "Ole Ole" and a very nice version of it too.
