Merry Christmas 2000

and

Happy New Year 2001

It was a special occasion for all the family members to come and celebrate the Holidays together. On December 23, Tuyen and Viet got engaged. We celebrated the whole day. Then we kept celebrating for many days. We had Co Thao, Chu Dung, and the kids from Sacramento. They drove down to be with us. We had Hamid, Lien, and Mina from Canada. We had Phuong, Anh Hung, the Twins, and Chi Thao (Anh Hung's sister) from Dallas. We had Chi Na from New York. And we had everyone in LA.

Mina, Quynh Anh, and Quynh Chi met again in LA. This time they could play with each other and know each other much better. Mina really missed everyone after she went back to Vancouver. She kept pointing at pictures and called out everyone's name.

We had a lot of fun in LA. We had parties almost every night at the house. We went to the Manhattan beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and Huntington Beach. We also went to Solvang in Santa Barbara for 2 days. At Solvang, we stayed at Best Western Inn in Solvang. Thanks to Tuyen, we got 3 nice rooms next to each other. It was so nice. At night, all the gamblers went to Chumash Casino. Everyone lost except for Chi Thao. She had beginner lucks.... We fell in love with the beautiful downtown of Solvang. We had the best Pancakes for breakfast. It was the Pancakes to be remembered.
