We should talk about the transpersonal. However, how could we do it as persons?
La coscienza partecipa della creazione della natura. È anzi la creazione stessa. Tanto poco questo ci dice sul ruolo della coscienza, che siamo spinti a cercare altrove, all’interno di noi stessi. La risposta al problema della coscienza è la coscienza, cioè noi stessi.
Consciousness is a part of the creation of nature. Strictly speaking, it is the creation itself. All that says little about the role of consciousness, and we are urged to find elsewhere, that is inside ourselves. The answer to the problem of consciousness is the self-consciousness.

Supposto che il transpersonale sia l’emergenza dello spirito, non è detto che le sue incursioni debbano sempre essere prive di aggressività. Dioniso si annuncia con la frenesia e il tumulto. Talora l’aggressività è orientata verso se stessi: disagio, depressioni, ecc.
Provided that the transpersonal is the emergency of spirit, it cannot be said that its forays have always to be devoid of aggressiveness. Dionysus is the announcer of frenzy and turmoil. Sometimes we direct aggressiveness toward ourselves through a feeling of discomfort, depressions, and so on.

L’impressione di eccezionalità, sino a sfiorare l’elezione, nei casi di esperienze mistiche. Ogni psicoterapia li ridimensiona, sia pure non attenuandoli.
There is an impression of exceptionality in the cases of mystical experiences, that even reaches the quality of an election. All psychotherapies scale down them, even though they aren’t mitigated.
Problema: arrivare alla transpersona dopo l’elaborazione dei propri vissuti, o prima? Eliminare una teleologia, come atto di coraggio. Da questa risoluzione del problema dipende la nostra visione della transpersona. Che Grof e Wilber non avvertano l’esigenza di occuparsi del biografico va a loro vantaggio.
Should you arrive to the transperson after or before the elaboration of your life experiences? You have to suppress teleology, as an act of courage. Our conception of the transperson depends on the solution of this problem. That both Grof and Wilber don’t feel obliged to take care of the biographical element is a merit.
L’accesso al transpersonale mostra l’individuo goffo e confuso. Niente da stupirsene, e un motivo in più per non abbandonarsi all’esperienza se non si è disposti a passare, letteralmente, per stupidi.
The access to the transpersonal reveals a confused, awkward individual. Nothing to be amazed: it is another reason for not to giving up to experience provided that one is not inclined to literally be considered to be silly.
