OBJECTIVE:
I would like to further my education with practical experience in my fields of
study, which are bioagricultural sciences and agricultural business. I am
looking for a job that is challenging and furthers my knowledge on the subject
of plants and or agriculture.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
I have babysitted young kids. This was for a family friend. I baby-sat two
young kids, one boy and one girl. This was 1996-1999. It taught me how to deal
with other people and how to handle situations with others in a friendly
manner.

I have worked in sales with selling animals and animal supplies. This was at
Petsmart in Boulder, Colorado during the summer and winter of 1999. I was
frequently the person who opened or closed the fish, bird, and reptile section
in the store. This job taught me good communication skills as well as how to
work alone.

My hobbies include fish, dogs, and cats. These animals have taught me how to love and nurture other living things. These skills have carried over into my relationships with family and friends.
I also know a lot about computers and have ridden horses a few times.
I have worked in a dining hall on the Colorado State University campus
one day a week for the school year of 2000-2001. This taught me how to interact
with others and how to work hard and be part of a team because all the
employees here have to do there job or the dining hall cannot do its job.

In the agricultural field, I have done work with new breeds of wheat and
barley. I worked at a farm that grew the new breeds to increase the supply. My
job was to help walking the field and pulling bad plants to improve quality.
Then we harvested and packaged the seeds for sale. I learned a lot about the
quality control process in farming. This was all done for Aaron Brown and the
Colorado Agronomy Foundation at Colorado State University. It was in the summer
and fall of 2000.

EDUCATION:
I graduated from Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado with an A- average.
Graduation was in 1998.
I then attended the University of Colorado for one year. This was from August 1998 to May 1999. I was a biology and chemistry double major. General biology did not interest me enough and I wanted a more focused biology major.
Then, I transferred to Colorado State University. I have been going here since August 1999. My majors are bioagricultural sciences and agricultural business. I currently have a 3.4 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
I have a strong interest in biology, agriculture, plants, and animals. I am also able to learn new skills quite quickly. These interests have only grown stronger with all the courses I am taking and have taken at Colorado State University.
For extra curricular activities I am involved with Alpha Zeta Agricultural Honors Fraternity. This has allowed me hang out and promote agricultural with a great group of students that share my goals and also have high scholastic achievement in agriculture. I designed the web page since I had enough knowledge and wanted to take the challenge.
I also in another honors society, Gamma Beta Phi. I am lucky to be a part of the founding the CSU chapter in the spring of 2002. It is a great group that is dedicated to education, friendship, and community service. We hope to be recognized in the community and have high grades at the same time.
I plan on graduating in the spring of 2003.
