The Groomsman's �Spouse Catching� 
Quiche
For a 9 inch quiche, serving 6                        

6 crisp bacon strips (Fattest possible)
3 eggs
heavy cream              
9 inch pre-baked shell                                  
� cup coarsely grated Swiss Cheese             


Seasonings: salt, pepper and nutmeg
(Pinches of each is best as the bacon has its own salt)


The Custard: 3 �Large� eggs blended with the �fattest and richest cream� to measure 1 � cups

Preheat oven to 350� F.                                   

Break up the pieces of bacon and strew them in the bottom of the shell


Sprinkle on all but a spoonful of the cheese

Season the custard and pour it within 1/8 inch of the rim

Sprinkle on the rest of the cheese                   


Bake 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until puffed and browned


Note: All of the ingriedients can be mixed in a bowl adding 1/4 teaspoon of flour, then poured into    the shell before baking.
