The article is mainly focus on CompuServe 7, which may replace Microsoft's Internet Explorer as the online service's default Web browser. CompuServe is just like the America Online uses Microsoft's Internet Explorer as its default browser. The new CompuServe 7 may comes packaged with Gecko, a rendering engine that serves as the backbone technology for displaying text and graphics on the Net. According t the article that Gecko uses XUL (Extensible User Interface Language), a technology used to create user interfaces with Web programming languages rather than with computer coding languages. XUL is an XML-based language for describing the contents of windows and dialogs. AOL has used Gecko technology to power non-PC Web devices as part of its "AOL Anywhere" strategy.
