PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT:


The picture on the side was taken at Fremont Peak during my very first outing. The picture shows teh setup i am using for astrophotograpy.

Main Telescope: Celestar Deluxe 8" f/10 on fork mount. The telescope is closed with a Kwik focuser system and equipped with an Orion Dew zapper.

Piggyback Telescope: 80mm Orion Short tube f/5 focal ratio.

The mount and the driving are proving solid enough to withstand the weight of the small telescope plus the camera without need for counterweight.


Camera: the camera is an Olympus OM-2

New Addition to the setup: Pictor 201XT and Sky Wizard 1 digital setting. The autoguider has the wrong cable which caused me trouble during the outing in July.
