THOUGHTS FROM THE SOUL
(SEASONS)

WINTER
The winter months are bleak and grey
And frost lay on the ground
When night-time supersedes the day
And creatures can't be found
A time of good cheer and merriment
Or so we've all been told
When Christmas greetings must be sent
And we all ring out the old
A time to wrap up very warm
To venture out by day
Unless there is a heavy storm
And then we keep at bay
Soon the rivers will melt and flow
And the birds will begin to sing
When plant life starts to stir and grow
Then we will know it's spring.
SPRING
Spring time is the time of year
Most people like the best
When creatures start to run around
After their winters rest
A time for blossoms on the trees
And tulips start to grow
The stirring of the honey bees
As new life starts to show
The mad march hare It leaps and bounds
For now that spring is here
And all around are happy sounds
And life is full of cheer
People rushing here and there
There's chaos and disorder
Trees are budding everywhere
For summers on the border.
