| Jonathan is one of the most talented minds I know. He writes the most amazing lyrics and his work with Q.O.T.D. was beyond great. He can play so many instruments. His background, be it ever so screwed up has helped him in his ability to be true when he writes. Many others began writing about the same issues and it became the trend, But Jonathan's horror was real. A lot of the other bands that are about "Death" have never seen it first hand like Jonathan has. So although there are a lot of Jonathan impersonators, they may have the ability to scream but do they have the staying power like Korn or the merit to make people cry and feel? As Ross Robinson said in WTN and it's still true to this day "there is not one band that is like Korn they are themselves." "give them something safe something super fly never played. all I hear is disgrace. erase them all and reclaim my place." |
| when they had the Jonathan chats at korn korner I wanted on stage badly. I don't even remember what question I was going to ask but I am sure it was more important than what underwear he prefers boxers or briefs. But I never got on stage. so when I became a wiz at korn korner I was excited when Jonathan came on and I got to talk to him. I then realize he is just a man, a very special one but still a man. Korn are very good to their fans. How many bands let their fans pick their set list, their album cover art and try to interact with the fans so much. There can be only one and that is Korn. |
