The One:
Big Bang Theory as science views it today is a matter of reconstructing backwards the series of events that occurred at the creation of the universe in an attempt to figure out where and from what we came. Grand Unification Theory is another way to put this. So far it has been a process of using tremendously difficult math to compile and crunch the numbers. But what is it that Science is really trying to accomplish? By pulling together the little strands that erupted at the creation of the universe they are attempting to find that single point from which we came.
Time
of diagrams designed to show
the human understanding of time
and the overall structure of time,
which leads us inevitably back to
the creation of the earth.
Choices?
Every moment of every day we are faced with choices. We may not realize it, but every little action we do has an impact on where we are headed in the universe. From the major choices such as going to school or thinking about specific topics, to completely unconscious decisions such as breathing, or length of strides. As we "move forward" in time we are making choices that will influence our fate, because we place ourselves at specific areas of the space-time continuum. Figure two is a diagram that shows this basic choice that we make.
Now this isn't meant to say that every single choice is controlled by the individual. When he is born, his genetic makeup, the place in the universe are all predetermined based upon historic movements of the environment. However, the simple fact that we can choose some modicum of our fate leads me to believe that there is a possibility of choice occurring. Not everything is outside of the humans control, but the vast majority of it is. So, in the diagram on the right the human at this central point makes his choice to go to either the fate on the left or the fate on the right, never truly knowing where this may lead. But what happens is that the human has moved into a different point of singularity, a new reality, and he will stay there until moving to the next reality, but always maintaining only one position in time at any given moment
The Possibility Factor
At this point the chart begins to extend outward, doubling the possible outcomes based upon the choices that the individual comes across. This possibility factor has huge implications. Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking described the concept of possible time in his book Black Holes and Baby Universes. In his book he described time as a grid with lines of possibilities running parallel to each other. I propose that this is not in fact the case, but that time is more of a funnel very similar to an hourglass. Only certain grains of sand will fall through the center of an hourglass at any given moment and the probability that one higher up in the glass will move through the center before one at the bottom would be ridiculous to think. There is order and procedure based upon the sand's current arrangement.
This procedure of filtering continues on and on until the possibilities become so remote that they reach the limit of inifinity as seen in this poor representation here on the right.
The Shaping of the Torus
When I began drawing this model back in 1994 I had no idea what a torus was. All I knew was that I was drawing a tree whose branches extended out to infinity. Then I began to think of it more as a tornado which eventually reached at the point of infinity a perfect circle, and that every possibility that ever is, was or will exist exists on that edge of infinity.
But I began to wonder what that really meant. If there exists a threshold where every possiblity occurs, how can it be that we are not there? This point of singularity where we exist must be at this limit because all possibilities are there and we are only one of those possibilities.
This is a replica of the original drawing that I made to explain myself. This is one half of a Torus. Notice how all the lines converge. Now this model isnt exactly true to the form of the figure 4, because it doesn't incorporate the branches, but you understand my point. All of the possibilities at the point of infinity are right in line with the point of singularity where we exist. The problem with this model is that the point of singularity doesn't meet the point of infinity. In order for that to happen the singularity and the infinity must converge and form a circle. This is the form seen below.

World Without End
What does all of this mean? Every possibility that could exist, does exist, and simultaneously with the reality that we know. Science will never find the beginning of time, because time has no beginning or end. Time is both finite and infinite. The universe is both finite and infinite. Every manipulation of matter and energy that we "experience" is all one entity, Every possible entity. Once the torus circles back around it swallows its infinity and brings it back to the one.
This is not a new idea. The concepts of the Midgaard serpent or the Mobius strip are visual concepts of the same idea. The cosmic dance of Shiva, Creation, Destruction and Creation again are all forms of this self same idea. The question becomes, what do we do with this knowledge? How does this concept change the way we should view our world or our lives? I haven't figured that one out, and we may never figure it out. Let's hope it's all for the best.
