Commercialism and Cake

Although, not very original, or handmade at all for that matter, this was an assembly of clothes that I got from Goodwill, and various other places. The theme of the outfit though was how humans are immersed in a commercial society, and how commercial products cover and govern the body, to drown out the human spirit.

The Tee shirt says Dr. Pepper on the front and Diet Dr. Pepper on the back. I'm wearing a Rally's nametag, which I got from my friend Melissa, because A) She worked at Rally's and B) It had my name on it anyway. During the performance I covered myself with Duncan Hines Chocolate cake, and Starbuck's Frappuccino. I was also wearing a pair of St. John's Bay shorts from J.C. Penney. Unfortunately, all of my ranting and raving was toungue in cheek, because I do personally like and support all of the above companies.
