"The Bug Lady"
Dawn Waskovsky
On August 10, 2007, as part of the Summer Reading Program, the Jamerson Memorial Library hosted Dawn Waskovksy, also know as The Bug Lady.  She presented two family oriented classes on insects and arachnids, featuring a tarantula and other live specimens as well as non-living displays.  These hands on classes helped educate the public on the importance of these smaller but interesting creatures that play a huge role in our ecosystem.
