Story & Craft Times
This year we will feature two story and craft times.   All Story & Craft times well take place at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, located on Main Street in Appomattox, VA.

Story & Craft Time � Morning Edition
Every Wednesday at 11:00AM there will be a story and craft time geared for children 0 � 4 years of age.  Dorothy Rice an ACLA volunteer will read a short story and present an age-appropriate craft project.  This class lasts about 45 minutes, and parents are encouraged to attend with their children so that they may supervise their child�s activity.

Story & Craft Time � Afternoon Edition
Every Wednesday, during the Summer Reading Program there will be a second story and craft time at 2:00 PM, geared toward children 5 � 8 years of age.  Faye Sherlin will present a story and a craft project.  This class lasts about 45 minutes.  We encourage you to attend with your child.

    Story and Craft time is geared toward certain age groups to teach children that reading can be a fun-filled pastime. It also encourages the development of the social skills they will need for the future.  We ask parents to please respect the age limits set for these programs as they are geared for these specific age groups.
