| About the Summer Reading Program |

Welcome to the 2006 J. Robert Jamerson Memorial & Pamplin Depot Library Branch Summer Reading Program. This years theme will be Once Upon A Time. |

Both Appomattox County libraries look forward to a fun and fantasy filled Summer. The main purpose of the Summer Reading program is to help maintain or surpass the reading levels of our school-aged patrons, and to introduce the youngest ones to the wonders of reading. |

We offer small incentives at sign up, and the ability to earn prizes. The more you read, the more prizes you earn! |

Who can participate? Anyone from pre-school through high school. If you are a student, you must be returning to school the following year. |

The Summer Reading Program is funded strictly through donations from local businesses, organizations, patrons, and monies raised during the Summer Reading Fair. Please be sure to visit our sponsors page and tell them that you saw them listed on our site. |
