Memberships:
Memberships for adults and children are free of charge to anyone who is a rate-payer of the R.M. of Alexander and the R.M. of Victoria Beach, and to anyone who is a member in good standing at the publicly funded library in Manitoba. Children under the age of 18 need parental consent to take out a membership. A non-resident pays an annual fee of $25 per family. Short-term memberships are issued to temporary non-residents of the R.M. of Alexander and the R.M. of Victoria Beach (i.e. campers) at a seasonal rate of $5 per family. At the time of membership, patron(s) will be apprised of the Library's services, proceedures, rules and regluations. Borrowing Times:
Members may borrow up to 20 books per family for a 3 week lending period. Magazines, videos and CDs have a lending period of 1 week with a maximum loan of 6 items. DVDs are a weekly rental, with a $1.00 charge. |
