Sponsors/Donations:
This year we are kindly asking local
businesses to participate in this wonderful event and to also help contribute
in making this competition fabulous and fun.
It is my belief that this event will
help bring together our local entertainers who are very important and the solid
backbone of our gay community. Drag
& Female Impersonation has been studied, taught, and presented at it’s best
for many many years and it is important that we keep the spirit alive by having
events like this where we take it to the next level. Many pageants have been attempted in this
town but never like this. This is only a
stepping stone and I plan to take it farther up the ladder as the years
pass. I want you to think positively
about this and remember that business for us is business for you. We can ALL benefit from events like this
especially if it attracts more people from out of town to come and have a
blast. We all need to eat, shop, and
sleep somewhere right? Why not at your
establishment? In return for your
generous contribution we are offering the following.
This year we will be making in house
programs for all attending the pageant and 11X17 posters that will be
distributed at all participating businesses with logos of sponsors. Keep in mind that the winners of this pageant
are also going to be giving back to the community by doing 2(two) fundraisers
during their reign. SpurLine will
contribute 65% of all additional costs for food, free giveaways, prize money,
and of course entertainment expenses.
Your donations will help contribute to crowns, tiaras, sashes, gift
certificates, flowers, pageant decorations, trophies, etc. All amounts remaining will be donated to
Desert Aids Project the night of event.
We will also hand them a list of ALL participating sponsors as well so
that they can acknowledge your participation in this wonderful event.
Most likely someone you know or
perhaps works for you will be competing in this pageant and keep in mind that
your contribution will help make sure that ALL of the contestants leave home at
least with some kind of prize even if they don’t win. All sponsors for this pageant will also be
plugged over the mic that evening as well so that all of our fabulous locals
know who helped make this event possible.
___$300.00 or prize value - Logo in
show program, Logo on poster, etc
___$200.00 or prize value –Logo on
poster, etc
___$100.00 or prize value – Logo in
show program, etc
___$50.00 or prize value – given out
of the kindness of your hearts.
Please note that cash sponsorships
are the best because we are able to give amounts remaining to DAP.
