Julie already knows that any literature worth reading is "considered apostate". If anything is above 3rd grade level, a JW will automatically assume it's apostate. Hume, Orwell, Kant, Nietzsche, Bertrand Russell, etc; to you they are all apostates.
Not to mention St. Paul, who talked about faith, and that Jesus guy who spoke about love and other apostate ideas all the time.
