I thought it was cool! Many other kids probably did too. What the heckwith violent cartoons, comic books, movies (andlet's not forget violent traditional fairy tales about murder and cannibalism) kids didn't mind this stuff. And I like Itchy and Scratchy too! / tobor

The only difference between violent cartoons and the Paradise book is the pictures in the book were real to the children not just fairytales. Any kid who watches those type of cartoons knows full well it is just make believe. All Jehovahs Witness children knew these pages were for real. I remember asking my mom as a very young child about the picture on page 209: The mother and daughter are running out of the burning house, I couldnt understand why Jehovah would destroy them, they seemed like nice people. My mom told me because they were not JWs, they would be destroyed. Now this is very hard on a small childs mind. I would stare at those pictures during the meetings, thinking about what was going to happen to all of those people. What a terrible thing to tell children.
