Here's some more fun for everybody to enjoy. I got sent a message by a fellow with some "interesting" ideas about the origins of Bible stories. I'm not going to identify him, but here's a clip from his message:
"The other theory that I strongly believe is that an ancient advanced race of "people" came to planet earth thousands of years ago and actually saw some potential in the primitive homo sapiens that had evolved
here. These travelers actually herded ancient man into a breeding farm called "Eden", bred them (cloning: took a rib from Eve)and cultivated intelligence in the ape-like creatures. They visited us several other times and inspired things
like the great flood (by seeding clouds and controlling weather and building dams), the 10 commandments (a holographic image in a "burning" tree or maybe a wide screen television) and probably even artificially inseminated a virgin Mary
while she was under sedation (slept) with their own seed to produce Jesus, who was resuscitated and revived after being pronounced dead. Take the Sermon on the Mount scene.... Got a stadium full of hungry people, don't give them food, give
them a miracle...Put an appetite suppressant along with some vitamens and simple sugars in the water. Slimfast Bingo! a miracle. We call it "Slimfast" today. We can do these things now, but in those days, it was a miracle. When they saw
that homosapien was basically still an evil animal that even murdered one of their own, they took him away to live with them, promising that they and their philosophy will return in a few thousand years after we work all this animal
behavior out of our consciousness."
Well, that's one theory at least....
