Perhaps they discredit him because
he found it on Mt. Utaru and not Mt. Ararat. It is also not built like a rectangular box and is 515 ft. long, exactly what a Egyptian cubit would project the size as using biblical specs.
They did a similar smear on David Fasold.
You also have to remember they make big money from fundie tourism "explorations" and it will make money as long as they don't find it.
There is actual physical evidence there. Have you examined the radar scans? What exactly is it
and why did the Turkish Government, in FACT, declare it to be the Ark of Noah, in a very matter of fact and straightforward way.
