1. Since the flight from Jerusalem is not a flight from false religion to true religion could it be that the flight from Babylon the Great is not a flight from false religion to true religion but is a literal flight from a extremely wealthy land that fits the description of Babylon the Great?

Proplog2,

The point made by your question is not an established fact. One can come to an understanding that Jerusalem simply represents the Faith gone bad, the way it was in the first century, (be it WT, Catholic, Baptist, Mormon or whatever) and challenged by an opposing force. When one recognizes this then leaving it and taking higher ground outside such arrangements is both a logical decision and a protection measure for the true believer.

Babylon can be viewed as more than just the Faith but all worship much of which was never a part of it. However the call to get out of this Babylon will not come until the kingdom is established and fully functioning (the other side of Armgeddon). Such verses should not be associated together or combined with Jerusalem as you do here saying that they mean essentially the same thing or occur at much the same time.
