: The majority of early Christians weren't residents of Jerusalem. The command to get out of Jerusalem was not a general command to ALL Christians.
Good point to rebut the WT's exegesis: Jesus' words weren't directed at all Christians, only "those in Judea," which isn't limited to Christians either, I might add.
It's an interesting exercise to try and figure out who Babylon is, or who the Man of Perdition is, or even what the "disgusting thing" might be relative to the
End-Times. Unfortunately for futurists, either it's all over and done with a long, long time ago (as forcefully suggested by a casual reading of the gospels and Paul's letters), it's a game and a riddle that no one has been able to figure
out or master, or some arrogant religious zealots seriously goofed up. I choose #3 myself (and history repeats itself with YK every few months).
