Gateway to the Sun
Tiahuanaco
Bolivian Altiplano, 12,500 feet, with some parts 2500 ft higher. A pre-Clumbian city built in a region that could never had supported it's population. One has trouble breathing properly at this height, much less hoisting 100 to 200 ton blocks in place, after carting them 30 to 90 miles! It is on a plain between the western and eastern Cordilleras, south of lake Titicaca. Andes, latitude 16 degrees 33' south.
If mountain building requires hundreds of thousand of years then the City of Tiahuanaco is very old indeed! Analysis of Lake Titicaca and other lakes on the plateau suggests they were once at sea level, having salt beds and chemical compositions similar to those of the ocean far below. Ocean crustaceous fauna found at the bottom of this lake. Excavations at the site determined that the residents had drowned! The dead were piled in gullies and ravines, animals and numerous items of daily life. Oh yeah, covered by silt. They had lain under salt water for MONTHS.
According to man's oldest written records, impressed on clay tablets there was a cataclysmic event that resulted in a flood that almost totally wiped out mankind. You would have us believe that this did not happen, despite records in almost every ancient culture, whether they lived near seas, well inland, or in mountains and deserts. Yes, the South American indians have a flood legend also.
They lay no claim to having built Tianuanacu, according to the first Spaniards who found the city. Tihuanacu was either thrust upward 12,500 feet or it was built hundreds of thousands of years ago, take your pick of impossibilities.
Francisco Pizarro records gateways hewn from solid stone, thirty feet by fifteen, and they pivot. At Cuelap, to the north are the ruins of a interlocking wall of blocks, 3600 feet long, 560 feet wide, 150 feet high which supports a second structure 600 by 500 feet, with cells and rooms, used by the Incas. An aquaduct 450 miles long., roads of stone and bituminous cement. The faces portrayed on the megaliths and statues are long faces with beards?
The Incas surrendered to Pizarro and his 168 men, thinking they were the builders of this city, returned to claim it!!The faces on the stone looked European. The Incas stated that no man had seen this city when it was not in ruins.
The calendar of Tiahuanaco, which was determined to be from BEFORE 3313 b.c.e., from it's petroglyphs that the moon made 447 revolutions around the earth in 291.2 days (A year length THEN). A later calendar then records the moon making 449 revolutions and the people living in that city were quite concerned about it! These calendar lengths for a year match up with other ancient cultures that had records. The Mayans begin their Fourth Age at 3313 b.c.e., after (they say) the event of the Great Flood.
Did the Asian migrants who crossed the land bridge between Alaska and Siberia build this? That would be incredible to believe.
(Four volumes, Tihuanacu, the Cradle of American Man, Prof. Arthur Posnansky, chief archaeologist for Bolivian atiquities at La Paza, Brazil, published by the Ministry of Education.)
This is just one of many unexplained finds by Geologists.
All that would be required for a flood of major proportions is tectonic upheavels, a raising and lowering of the earth's crust, mountain ranges would be formed through overthrusts and the subduction of plates and folds in the strata where the plates met. What caused the Caspian sea to be at -91 ft. sea level and mountain lakes at 5400 ft.? Lake Van has a bitter sea and a species of Red Herring from the North Atlantic. This is southeast of where the find of the 'Ark' (alleged rock formation but read the book, The Ark of Noah by David Fasold for details) in the Kurd areas of Turkey, Mt. Utaru, which is twenty miles south of Mt. Ararat. Moslem records indicate that this object was once further up the mountain and was recognizable as a 515 ft.long boat with multiple decks. Nearby inscriptions were dated and said; Noah's Ark, 1245 a.d. and the person's named who visited (Photos shown), huge drag stones were found in the vicinity. This previous site was visited by pilgrims up until a mud slide buried it until it reemerged during a earthquake in 1947, found by a sheepherd named Rasheit, explored investigated from 1970 to 1988 when Turkey declared it to be Noah's Ark Ruins.
Christendom doesn't want it because it makes the Bible only PARTIALLY RIGHT and others of opposite views for the same reason, ironic no?
Photograhy and radar scans confirm the configuration of a vessel, with iron readings at regular and frequent intervals, analysis of site cores tell us it is made of reeds and and ancient cement/tar mixture. the Turks have never allowed any digs at the site and in this day this is a war zone. The photos of the site look authentic and feature people and measurements in abundance.
There is no question that enough water is present on the earth for the Great Flood to have happened and the forty days rain is a "drop in the bucket".
Close approach of a heavenly body would have been enough to cause it to happen.
Why are there bones of fish, shells of clams and snails under the snow on Mt. Everest?
Why has the head of the Sphinx suffered water erosion damage when Egypt has not had enough torrential rains to cause this in the last 10,000 years?
So, previous evidence I gave indicated a milder (thou not tropical) climate in areas of the earth that are now cold. How much closer and warmer would we be if the earth's speed was increased or we were closer to the sun, causing a year of 291.2 days? What would happen if it abruptly changed then gradually settled at 360 days? What was happening that caused the moon to be much closer (5.9 radii) and faster in it's orbit back then as opposed to now. Who built ancient sites that still frustrate the theories of what ancient man could do?
I suppose David Fasold, William Ryan (ark of noah), Bellamy, Posnansky and Velikovsky are all just pseudo-scientists and fundies who lie and exaggerate?
