You sound like a good Catholic, as your reasoning matches that of many Catholics. Consider the following:
I would very much encourage you to continue in studying the Bible with the true, Cathoics. Search out a Priest and he will make some fine arrangements....Some here are doubting Catholic's who don't appreciate the fact that the Church is a progressive one where gradually, with God's help and direction, he is cleaning it up. And evidently, he is allowing those with bad hearts, to leave God's Church now and of course this also continues the refining and cleansing of His spiritual temple.So why do the Catholic's complain about past errors? God is allowing imperfect men to take the lead within this Church. And he does lead them on the right path, right down to Armeggedon. So my advice to you is, please do not listen to negative talk against God's Church. All this negative talk pleases Saten. He wants nothing more than to lead people out of God's temple of true worship. And he will take out as many as he can. He is a MASTER deceiver, afterall, he has had thousands or more years to learn the craft. What better method than to use those who were once in the faith?
