Hi Robin and welcome.

:What does the Bible say about ridiculing God's
prophets?

It contains very strong language condemning such ridicule

:how he feels about his faithful and discreet slave class.

The same way as he feels about the entire bride class, right?

:Remember the account about the children who
made fun of one of God's prophets and so God made
a she bear tear them apart.

Yep I remember (I share a bond of a receding hairline so I appreciate this account :)

:You may be found blood guilty if you were to cause any of God's sheep to develop a bad
heart condition and then leave his 'Spiritual temple'.

Millstone around the neck. brrrr. Not a nice way to go.

Yes these cautionary phrases you mentioned are excellent warnings however you are basing them on several assumptions.

1. You are equating the Watch Tower Society and its writings to god's prophets. If they are in fact prophets, then how can we explain the need to refine our understandings. This would make them false prophets. We cannot have it both ways. Are they prophets or aren't they?

2. Stumbling - again you assume (understandably) that if someone leaves the JW religion they are thus condemned to death thereby causing blood guilt to the stumbler. Correct? Does this not put you into a position as judge? If someone leaves due to weakness or spiritual fatigue, does this mean they will be destroyed at Armageddon? If not, then how does the stumbler become blood guilty?

Things are not always black & white hun.

J
