Sad, but true. But there are many who by there own accord have come to see that being told one thing by the Organization and the facts are two different things, the reasons are clear, why tell the brothers and sisters things that might wreck their faith?
When the Society tells us that they have been preaching "this good news of the established kingdom" since 1914 and then renewed again from babylon the great in 1919, we except this without question? Why should we doubt? Why bite the hand that fed you when you were a armageddon one way ticket?
Well when i pick up brother Rutherford's book "CREATION" 1927 pg: 319 I read....."There are two important dates here that we must not confuse, but clearly differentiate; namely, the beginning of "the time of the end" and the beginning of the presence of the Lord. "The time of the end" embraces a period from 1799 A.D. to the time of the complete overthrow of Satan's empire and the establishment of the kingdom of Messiah. The time of the Lord's second presence dates from 1874 and is during the latter part of the period known as "the time of the end". This really bothers me!
or from his book "PROPHECY" on pg: 65 I read.."the scriptural proof is that the second presence of the Lord Jesus Christ bagan in 1874 A.D. Ohhh apostates? no just us J.W.'s
And again in "THE HARP OF GOD" 1921 pg: 234 paragragh 408 we read..."These physical facts cannot be disputed and our sufficient to convince any reasonable mind that we have been in "the time of the end" since 1799. I must be 'stupid'
Ms Elder, seeing that you like to peek in at this forum then to make yourself look justified BY putting all of us here down? Ask your elder husband to answer 1799 for us ?? Huh, tell on yourself for reading this type of stuff, you know how being in the "TRUTH" does not mean you want to KNOW the"TRUTH." Have your husband read to you page 103 from his copy of "PAY ATTENTION TO YOURSELFS AND TO ALL THE FLOCK" I think this applies to you. p.s. I hope the 'friends' aren't up set with me for telling the TRUTH. :)
