Depends what you mean by apostates.
I doubt that the "apostates" who are godless and want to see the WatchTower Society crumble can be given credit for positive changes, since it was not their intent.
However, I do believe that
there are "apostates" who have a sincere love for Jehovah and are acting out of that love to do what they can to send the message that things are wrong. In this sense I would agree that "apostates" are involved with puting the pressure on
to reform the WTS, but these also include reform minded JWs. I also believe that JWs will be more comfortable viewing sites that are expressed "positively"... and there are more and more of them popping up, rather than those sites that
exude hatred and an in your face attitude.
